Lodge Activities for 2002-3

Starting on February 7th the Lodge will offer dinners at $10.00 a person with a limit of 20 dinners . This is being done to try to enhance the Lodge and offer our members a place to come on Friday nights and enjoy the company  of other members. Come out and  enjoy.
The Dinners will be served at 6:00 till 8:00pm

Elks National Foundation
Offers Promise Grants
The ENF-funded Elks Drug Awareness Program is once again offering to reimburse expenses of up to $200 for the first 250 Elks Lodges that pledge to hold drug-, alcohol- and violence-free events for community youths. Examples include, but are not limited to, After-Prom parties, graduation parties, teen dances, pool parties, youth lock-ins, back-to-school events or Red Ribbon celebrations. In order to be eligible for reimbursement, the youth events must be held between April 1 and November 30, 2003.

On Feb. 12, 1871, Claude Goldie received a New York State Charter for the B.P.O.E.'s New York Lodge No. 1, and the first Grand Lodge meeting was called to order at 4:15 PM at 114-116 East 13th St. in New York City.
