MAJOR PROJECTS DONATION TOTALS FOR 2003 - 2004

As of January 31, 2004 the total contributions statewide is $220,670.17 for a per capita of $3.82.


The WEST DISTRICT leads in total money (47,913.94) and the SOUTHEAST DISTRICT leads in per capita ($10.77). BUTLER LODGE #170 leads the State with $10,547.98 in contributions with NORRISTOWN #714 leading in per capita with $35.26 per member.

The SOUTHEAST District, with 2,860 members, has a total of $30,809.40 (2nd) for a District per capita of $10.77 (1st). The top Lodge in total money is FAIRLESS HILLS #2023 with $7,020.48 and the top Lodge in per capita is NORRISTOWN #714 with $35.26 (#1 in State) per member.

Norristown Elks Lodge #714 is seeking donations for Laurel House, the only safe haven for battered women and their children in Montgomery County.  Last year, Laurel House provided 7,203 days of emergency shelter to families who had experienced domestic violence.
If anyone is interested in contributing to this very
worthy organization, a collection box will be placed in the bar area of the Lodge and will be kept there
indefinitely.
